Ramapo College is centrally located in New Jersey's Bergen County close to all major highways. The official address is 505 Ramapo Valley Road, Mahwah, New Jersey 07430. When arriving at the college, ample parking is available in the visitor's lot directly in front of the Sports and Recreation Center (see map of campus parking: http://www.ramapo.edu/tour/map_tour/index.html). Entrance to the parking lot is immediately off Ramapo Valley Road, which is also called Route 202.

FROM THE SOUTH

USING ROUTE 17
Follow Route 17 North to Mahwah to exit sign 202 Suffern/Morristown” on right. At the end of the short exit ramp, turn left (Route 202 South). Continue on Route 202 approximately one mile to traffic light. Campus entrance is on left.

USING GARDEN STATE PARKWAY
Leave Parkway at exit 163 (left lane exit). Follow directions for “Using Route 17” above.

USING ROUTE 208
Follow Route 208 North onto Route 287 South toward Morristown. Take exit 58 (Route 202/Oakland). Turn right at the light at the end of the exit ramp. Continue on Route 202 North through the next traffic light and go approximately seven miles to the first traffic light in Mahwah. Campus entrance is on right.

USING ROUTE 287
Take Route 287 North to exit 58 (Route 202/Oakland). Turn left at the light at the end of the exit ramp and left again onto Route 202 North. Continue on Route 202 North through the next two traffic lights and go approximately five miles to the next traffic light. Campus entrance is on right.

USING NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE
Take N.J. Turnpike (I-95 North) to end (exit 18W or 18E). Continue North to Route 80 West to Route 17 North. Follow directions for “Using Route 17” above.

FROM THE NORTH

USING ROUTE 17
Follow Route 17 South (approximately 1.5 miles from Exit 15 on N.Y. State Thruway, I-87). Turn right at Route 202 exit. At end of exit ramp, turn left (Route 202 South). Continue on Route 202 approximately one mile to light. Campus entrance is on left.

USING NY STATE THRUWAY
Take N.Y. State Thruway (I-87) south to Route 287 South (New Jersey), then take Exit 15 onto Route 17 South. Follow directions for “From the North – Using Route 17.”

FROM ORANGE COUNTY

USING ROUTE 17
Follow Route 17 South (approximately 1.5 miles from Exit 15 on N.Y. State Thruway, I-87). Turn right at Route 202 exit. At end of exit ramp, turn left (Route 202 South). Continue on Route 202 approximately one mile to light. Campus entrance is on left.

FROM NEW YORK CITY

Take the George Washington Bridge to Route 4 West to Route 17 North. Follow Route 17 North to Mahwah to exit sign 202 Suffern/Morristown” on right. At the end of the short exit ramp, turn left (Route 202 South). Continue on Route 202 approximately one mile to traffic light. Campus entrance is on left.

FROM WESTCHESTER AND ROCKLAND COUNTIES

Follow Route 287 West over the Tappan Zee Bridge to Route 17 South. Follow Route 17 South (approximately 1.5 miles from Exit 15 on N.Y. State Thruway, I-87). Turn right at Route 202 exit. At end of exit ramp, turn left (Route 202 South). Continue on Route 202 approximately one mile to light. Campus entrance is on left.

FROM CONNECTICUT

Follow I95 to Route 287 West over the Tappan Zee Bridge. Continue to exit 15 onto Route 17 South. Follow Route 17 South (approximately 1.5 miles from Exit 15 on N.Y. State Thruway, I-87). Turn right at Route 202 exit. At end of exit ramp, turn left (Route 202 South). Continue on Route 202 approximately one mile to light. Campus entrance is on left.

FROM THE EAST

Follow Route 80 or Route 4 to Route 17 North. Follow Route 17 North to Mahwah to exit sign 202 Suffern/Morristown” on right. At the end of the short exit ramp, turn left (Route 202 South). Continue on Route 202 approximately one mile to traffic light. Campus entrance is on left.

FROM THE WEST

Follow Route 80 East to Route 287 North. Follow Route 17 North to Mahwah to exit sign 202 Suffern/Morristown” on right. At the end of the short exit ramp, turn left (Route 202 South). Continue on Route 202 approximately one mile to traffic light. Campus entrance is on left.

Joseph St. Lawrence Sports Center is located in New York off of the New York State Thruway. The official address is 115 Torne Valley Road, Hillburn, New York 10931. The sports center is an easy drive from Ramapo College (Approximately 9 minutes/5 miles) .

BY CAR to Joseph St Lawrence Sports Center:

From Thruway

Take Rte 17 north to the end. Take NY State Thruway towards Albany. Go less than one mile and take Exit 15A "Sloatsburg/Rte 59". Make a right at end of exit ramp onto Rte 59 south. Proceed about 1/2 mile and go over metal bridge (which goes over the RR tracks). Go a short distance to your first left. *A land-mark directly across from Torne Valley Road is Frank's Auto Body. Make that left onto Torne Valley Road. Proceed on Torne Valley Road for approx. 3/4 mile and you will see the complex on the left.

From Suffern (local)

Follow Rte 59 through village, take a right at the light (facing the train tracks) and follow toward Hillburn. You will see Ireland’s Restaurant on your right and shortly after Frank's Auto Body on your left, where you will take a right onto Torne Valley Road. Proceed on Torne Valley Road for approx. 3/4 mile and you will see the complex on the left.

From RAMAPO COLLEGE to JOSEPH ST LAWRENCE SPORTS CENTER:

* When leaving the College, make RIGHT turn onto RAMAPO VALLEY ROAD/RT ROUTE 202.

* Continue on Ramapo Valley Road for 2.5 miles to the end. At the Traffic Light make a LEFT turn onto EAST 202 (Orange Avenue).

* Continue on East 202 for 1.7 miles and at the Traffic Light intersection BEAR LEFT to WEST 59 (Orange Avenue).

* Go one mile and make a RIGHT Turn onto TORNE VALLEY ROAD. [Fireplace Store Showroom is on the right. Note: If you cross over a metal bridge, you just missed Torne Valley Road - make a legal u-turn].

* Proceed on Torne Valley Road for approx. 3/4 mile and you will see the complex on the left.

From JOSEPH ST LAWRENCE SPORTS CENTER to RAMAPO COLLEGE:

* When leaving the Sports Center, make a right turn and proceed down the hill.

* At the Stop Sign, make a LEFT turn onto EAST 59 (Orange Avenue).

* Go one mile and at the traffic light intersection BEAR RIGHT onto WEST 202.

* Continue on West 202 for 1.7 miles and at the next Traffic Light, make a RIGHT TURN onto RAMAPO VALLEY ROAD/RT ROUTE 202.

* Continue on RAMAPO VALLEY ROAD/RT ROUTE 202 for 2.5 miles and Ramapo College will be on the left.

Ramsey High School is centrally located in New Jersey's Bergen County immediately off of Route 17. It is a short distance from Ramapo Collge [approximately 5 miles] . Entrance to the gym is on 148 Prospect Street, Ramsey, New Jersey 07446.

FROM Garden State Parkway, NJ Turnpike, Route 80 or Route 4

Take Route 17 North.

Follow Route 17 North for approximately 8-9 miles to the "Lake Street, Ramsey" exit. Bear to the right at the traffic light onto Lake Street. You will pass over Route 17.

Contiune driving along East Main Street and pass through the second traffic light at Franklin Turnpike (Weichert Realtors is on the left) the high School on your left.

Make a LEFT on Island Avenue. At the stop sign make a LEFT on Prospect Street. The entrance to the gym is in the back on Prospect Street.

Eric S. Smith Middle School is a few minutes drive from Ramsey High School.

Follow the same directions to the high school.

You should be driving along East Main Street. Pass Ramsey High School (on your left) and continue pass the center of town. Make a RIGHT turn on North Central Aveneue.

At the fork (Citgo Gas Station), bear left.

Watch for a sign for the middle school and make a Left ontp Morse Avenue. Make another left at the stop sign and the school is straigh ahead.

Rockland Community College is located in New York's Suffern County off of I-287/I-87/New York State Thruway. It is a short distance from Ramapo Collge [approximately 7 miles/14 minutes] . The official address is 145 College Road, Suffern, New York 10901.

From RAMAPO COLLEGE to SUNY ROCKLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE:

* When leaving the College, make RIGHT turn onto RAMAPO VALLEY ROAD/RT ROUTE 202.

* Make RIGHT onto ROUTE 17 N. (Route 17 becomes I-287)

* Merge onto I-287 E/I-87/New York Thruway S toward TAPPAN ZEE BRIDGE/NEW YORK CITY.

* Turn LEFT onto N AIRMONT RD. N Airmont Rd becomes Highview Rd/CR-64.

From SUNY ROCKLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE to RAMAPO COLLEGE:

* Start out going SOUTH on CR-81/COLLEGE RD toward BRIARWOOD LN.

* Turn RIGHT onto HIGHVIEW RD/CR-64. Continue to follow CR-64. CR-64 becomes N AIRMONT RD.

* Merge onto I-287 W/I-87 N/NEW YORK STATE THRUWAY N.

* Merge onto I-287 S/NY-17 S via EXIT 15 toward NEW JERSEY (Crossing into NEW JERSEY).

* Merge onto NJ-17 S via EXIT 66 on the LEFT toward MAHWAH.

* Take the US-202 exit toward SUFFERN/MORRISTOWN.

* Turn LEFT onto US-202/RAMAPO VALLEY RD. Go approximately 1/2 mile; the College is to the left.

Gill St. Bernard School is conveniently located in the beautiful rolling hills on the border of Morris and Somerset Counties in Gladstone, NJ. The official address is St. Bernard Road, Gladstone, New Jersey 07934. The school is minutes off US-206 approximately 5 miles from the center of Chester, NJ, 15 minutes from the junction of highways 287 and 78, and less than 30 minutes from Morristown center (to the northeast), the International Trade Zone in southern Sussex County (to the northwest), Somerville (to the southeast) and Hackettstown (to the west.). [GET onto "I-78 West" from NJ Turnpike/US 1-9/Garden State Parkway]

  • Take I-78 W. Merge onto I-287 N at "Exit 29" toward US-202/US-206/Morristown.
  • Go 1.2 miles on I-287 North and take Exit 22B onto US-206 toward Bedminster/Netcong.
  • BEAR LEFT at fork to continue on US-206N. Go for approximately 5 miles.
  • Take sharp right hand turn at the light for CR-512/Pottersville Road. (note: Holland Avenue is the right turn before Pottersville Road. Do not take this right even though there is a sign pointing to "Gladstone". Pottersville Road is the easiest way to get to the school)
  • Go approximately 1/2 miles to bottom of hill (stop sign). Make left onto CR-671/Main Street. Follow CR-671 .9 miles (bearing left at a fork in the road) to St. Bernard's Road. School is on right.

=> From Northern New Jersey via 287 South:

  • Take I-287 S to US-202/US-206, Exit 22, toward Bedminster/Pluckemin. Turn right onto US-206 N/US 202 N.
  • BEAR LEFT at fork to continue on US-206N. Go for approximately 5 miles.

From Mendham town center take NJ 24 W/ Main Street west approximately 2 miles to Roxiticus Road. Make left onto Roxiticus Road. Go 3.5 miles – Roxiticus Road turns into Mendham Road – and turn right onto St. Bernard's Road. School is on left.

From the west/southwest/northwest: (Hunterdon County, NJ)
US-22E to I-78E. Merge onto I-287N (Exit 29). Go 1.5 miles and take Exit 22B (Bedminster/Netcong) onto US-206N. Remain on US-206N for 6.8 miles. Take sharp right hand turn at the light for CR-512/Pottersville Road. Go approximately .5 miles to bottom of hill (stop sign). Make left onto CR-671/Main Street. Follow CR-671 .9 miles (bearing left at a fork in the road) to St. Bernard's Road. School is on right.

(Long Valley/Hackettstown region)
Take CR-24 east toward Chester (from Hackettstown take CR-517/24 over Schooley's Mountain to traffic light in Long Valley. Turn left at light onto the continuation of 24.) Continue into Chester. Turn right onto US-206 S in Chester. Go 1.5 miles and make left onto Old Chester Road. (There is a left turn lane.) Follow Old Chester Road for 2.3 miles. Turn left onto St. Bernard's Road. School is on the right.

(Sussex County region)
Take US-206 S. US-206 S merges with I-80 E in Netcong. Take Exit 27 off I-80 E (approximately 1 mile after merge) onto US-206 S. Go 9.3 miles and make left onto Old Chester Road. (There is a left turn lane.) Follow Old Chester Road for 2.3 miles. Turn left onto St. Bernard's Road. School is on the right.

Drew University is located in Central New Jersey approximately one hour from the Jersey shore; New Hope, Pa.; the Poconos; the Delaware Water Gap State Park; and the Meadowlands, including Giants Stadium and the Continental Airlines Arena. : Follow the signs to the N.J. Turnpike South. Take exit 14 (Newark Airport). After the toll plaza take I-78 West (please see Route 78 Construction advisory, above) to Route 24 West. Stay in the far right lane to exit 7A - Chatham/Route 124 West. Follow Route 124 West through Chatham (Main Street) into Madison (Madison Avenue). Holland Tunnel: Follow the N.J. Turnpike signs. After the toll plaza take I-78 West (please see Route 78 Construction advisory, above) to Route 24 West. From the Verrazano Bridge. Follow I-278 through Staten Island to the Goethal's Bridge. As soon as you cross the Goethal's Bridge, follow the signs for the N.J. Turnpike North. Montclair State University is situated on 240-acre campus in the vibrant hometown of Montclair, just 40 minutes away from the most exciting city: New York. The campus is located on the corner of Valley Road and Normal Avenue in Montclair, New Jersey, one mile south of the junction of Routes 3 and 46. * Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair: Travel north on Valley Road 3.3 miles to Normal Avenue light. Turn left.

* Route 46 (East): Take Valley Road exit at Route 3 junction. Travel south approximately one mile to the Normal Avenue light. Turn right at the light.

* Route 46 (West): Take Valley Road exit immediately preceding the Route 3 junction, travel south approximately one mile to the Normal Avenue light. Turn right at the light.

* Route 3 (East and West): At the Route 46 junction, take the Valley Road exit south for approximately one mile to Normal Avenue. Turn right at light.

* Garden State Parkway North: Take Exit 153B (left lane) to Route 3 West to Valley Road, Montclair exit. Travel south one mile to Normal Avenue light. Turn right at light.

* Garden State Parkway South: Exit 154 to Route 46 West to Valley Road, Montclair exit. Travel south one mile to Normal Avenue light, turn right.

* New Jersey Turnpike North or South: Take Exit 16W to Route 3 West. Take Valley Road, Montclair exit. Travel south one mile to Normal Avenue light. Turn right at light. (Motorist traveling north on the turnpike south of Exit 11may exit there to the Garden State Parkway North.)

University of Bridgeport is located fifty-five miles from New York City in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Bridgeport, Connecticut's largest city, borders the 50-acre campus to the north; Seaside Park and Long Island Sound, with some of the finest sandy beaches between New York and Cape Cod, mark the southern boundary—in sight of the Long Island Sound’s breathtaking vistas. I-95 South (toward New York) Take Exit 27. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto Lafayette Street. At the first light, turn left onto South Frontage Road and bear right. At the next light, turn right (by Harbor Yard Stadium & Arena) onto Broad Street. Proceed approximately one mile south, Broad Street turns right into Waldemere Avenue. I-95 North (toward New Haven) Take Exit 27 and proceed straight off the exit ramp, bear right. At the fourth light, turn right (by Harbor Yard Stadium & Arena) onto Broad Street. Proceed approximately one mile south, Broad Street turns right into Waldemere Avenue. At the first stop sign, turn right onto Park Avenue. Go one block and turn right on Linden Avenue. Visitor parking is on left.

South on Routes 8 and 25 Take Exit 1 (Prospect Street / Myrtle Avenue). Continue straight off the exit ramp until the third traffic light, turn left onto South Frontage Road and bear right. At the third traffic light, turn right (by Harbor Yard Stadium & Arena) onto Broad Street. Proceed approximately one mile south, Broad Street turns right into Waldemere Avenue. At the first stop sign, turn right onto Park Avenue. Go one block and turn right on Linden Avenue. Visitor parking is on left.

Merritt Parkway (Route 15) South (toward New York) Take Exit 52 (South fork) and bear left to Route 8/25 Connector to Exit 1 (Prospect Street / Myrtle Avenue). Continue straight off the exit ramp until the third traffic light, turn left onto South Frontage Road and bear right. At the third traffic light, turn right (by Harbor Yard Stadium & Arena) onto Broad Street. Proceed approximately one mile south, Broad Street turns right into Waldemere Avenue. Merritt Parkway (Route 15) North (toward New Haven) Take Exit 49S (South) to Route 8/25 Connector to Exit 1 (Prospect Street / Myrtle Avenue). Continue straight off the exit ramp until the third traffic light, turn left onto South Frontage Road and bear right. At the third traffic light, turn right (by Harbor Yard Stadium & Arena) onto Broad Street. Proceed approximately one mile south, Broad Street turns right into Waldemere Avenue. Follow Interstate 87 West from the Tappan Zee Bridge to Interstate 287 South. Follow I-287 South to I-80 West. Follow I-80 West to the toll bridge at the Delaware River, which serves as the border between New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Continue on I-80 West for about 3 miles and take Exit 308, the East Stroudsburg exit. When you reach the end of the exit ramp, make a right onto Prospect Street and continue through two stoplights. Go one block past the second light and turn right onto Normal Street. The Office of Admission is located in the Reibman Administration Center (1st bldg on left as you turn onto Normal Street). From New York City & points east:
Follow Interstate 80 West (it crosses the George Washington Bridge as it leaves New York City) to the toll bridge at the Delaware River, which serves as the border between New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Continue on I-80 West for about 3 miles and take Exit 308, the East Stroudsburg exit. When you reach the end of the exit ramp, make a right onto Prospect Street and continue through two stoplights. Exit at the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton exit, and go east, following I-78 East/US 22 East. After a short distance, I-78 East and US 22 East split. At the split, stay to the right, following US 22 East. Take US 22 East to the exit for PA 33 North; this exit is located a few miles east of the Lehigh Valley International airport.

Follow PA 33 north. After fifteen miles or so, PA 33 North and US 209 North split. Follow US 209 North for about ten miles when it merges into I-80 East. Follow I-80 East to Exit 308 (East Stroudsburg). When you reach the end of the exit ramp, make a right onto Prospect Street and continue through two stoplights.
